Yamaha C3E Conservatory Grand Piano Circa 1989 Polished Ebony

Bring the power and precision of a world-class conservatory to your home or studio with this exceptional Yamaha C3E Conservatory Grand Piano. Measuring 6'1", the C3 is the most sought-after size for a serious player's piano—small enough to sit comfortably in a living room but large enough to deliver a profound, orchestral voice that smaller "baby grand" models cannot match.

This specific instrument, with serial number 4791851, was handcrafted in the renowned Hamamatsu factory in Japan around 1989-1990. The late 80s and early 90s are considered a "golden age" for the C-series grand pianos, and this C3E iteration showcases the refinements of that era. This is an instrument of immense capability, durability, and tone that has stood the test of time.

Key Features & Verification:

• Refined "E" Iteration: This is the C3E model (Image 4), representing the enhanced engineering revisions introduced during this period for improved action and tone.

• Polished Ebony Finish: The timeless and elegant high-polish ebony finish (Image 0) adds sophisticated style to any setting.

Condition Note:

This piano presents beautifully with a high-luster finish. The internal components, as shown in the images, show honest patina and natural character. There is some minor surface tarnishing on the tuning pins and plates (Image 2 and 4), which is to be expected on an original, high-performance instrument of this age. This piano is a great opportunity to acquire a legendary professional instrument with clear potential.

We strongly recommend a technical evaluation from a qualified piano technician.
